Chrishawn Williams

Chrishawn Williams was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. She has been involved in organized sports the majority of her life, with her most notable athletic accomplishments coming from track and field as an athlete and a coach.

Her academic and athletic endeavors translated into a scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During her stint at UNC, she was 4x All-ACC, 2x All-American and team MVP. She competed in the short sprints as a well in the long and triple jump; her best event was undoubtedly the long jump where she was able to earn her All-American status.

Prior to her Tar Heel days, Chrishawn attended Southeast Raleigh High School, where she accumulated five individual state titles in the events of long and triple jump. Her high school alma mater is also where she started her coaching career in 2014.  With seven of her previous athletes coming to her as beginners yet earning spots on collegiate track and field teams as jumpers, Chrishawn is most proud of her accomplishments as a coach rather than as an athlete. Her most successful athlete to date was ranked top five in the nation in long and triple jump, winning the state title in both events in 2019, including racking up a state meet record in triple jump along with meet MVP.  She coached that athlete for six years, working on speed, jumping, coordination and strength; he went on to a division one institution on a full athletic scholarship!

Chrishawn has a passion for working with children and teens. After college she was employed by the City of Raleigh: Teen Outreach Program as an Activities Specialist in 2014 where she was afforded the opportunity to impact the lives of at-risk youth. She planned and organized a career fair for the teens and implemented a yearlong after-school curriculum that she hoped would alter the trajectory of their futures. The teens were guided trough topics such as financial literacy, mental health, and effective communication, to name a few.

In 2015 Chrishawn became an ACE certified personal trainer; however, after a few years of training, she has decided to expand her knowledge of the human body by embarking on the journey of obtaining her doctorate in physical therapy.  Wanting to improve the overall standard of living for people is what led her to pursue a career in health and fitness. She looks forward to working with people of all ages and fitness levels, with the philosophy that every one has the capacity to be a better version of themselves!
